I work as a SQL Server Database Administrator. I started working in SQL Server with SQL Server 7.0 and had been working on all version from then, SQL Server 2000, 2005 and the latest version SQL Server 2008. I focus on Administration of SQL Server and Maintain Security, High-Availability, Performance, Disaster Recovery planning and many other areas of SQL Server Implementations.

As part of keeping myself competent in SQL Server and other technologies, I have been reading many Books, Articles, Blogs, White Papers, Case studies and user Forums only to get amazed by the vast amount of knowledge we have at our disposal.    In order to gauge my proficiency, I have taken few certifications in SQL Server. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) DBA in SQL 2005 and 2008, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) DBA in SQL 2005 and 2008 and also a Systems Administrator in Windows Server 2003. My current plans are to complete the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Database Developer SQL 2008 and qualify for the Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) Program.
